SweetSexySavage2.0 is a sequel to SweetSexySavage released in 2017. Just like the name, it represents the range of Kehlani and women alike. The tracklist embodies her multi-dimensionality and fluidity. She can be soft, a heartbreaker, and handle business all at the same time. Similar to the first album, the sound is fun and mature while telling a story of self-empowerment from beginning to end.
The new direction will continue to use visuals that illustrate a moody tone with high contrast photography, closeups, pink lighting that mimics colors from SSS, as well as poses and angles that capture her powerful yet sweet lover girl vibes. The design aesthetic will utilize retro film elements and grain textures for layouts throughout. The main album logo will be used as a neon sign in photography with urban, graffiti backdrops. SSS2.0 will evoke feelings of what it’s like to be a woman today, she can’t be put in a box and ‘keeps it all runnin’.’

spotify vibe check campaign
Just like us humans, music is multi-dimensional and constantly changing. Any emotion, any endeavor, any personality, Spotify can match your energy. Through various digital billboards, Spotify will launch “Vibe Check” where users can hijack the billboards by sending in a photo - could be a selfie, a nature scene, anything personal that sets the tone along with a mood descriptor and song of choice to potentially be uploaded to the billboard. This interactive experience serves as a “vibe check” for users to express their intent, inspire or resonate with those around them, as well as connect users on their path to new music discovery. This will be kicked off with the release of SSS2.0, featuring submissions that are streaming Kehlani’s new album. After all, who wouldn’t want to flex their music taste for the world to see?
